Osiyo!
As a Cherokee (Keetoowah/Old Settler) I grew up in what is now the Cherokee Reservation in Northeastern Oklahoma. As a member of Cherokee Nation, my work focuses on uplifting Indigenous representation and telling engaging stories. I earned my BFA in Animation from Sheridan College in 2020 and have been working in animation and publishing since then. I received the Annie award in 2019 for work on the student film The Fox & The Pigeon, and have worked as a storyboard artist for shows like Storybots and Strawberry Shortcake. Right now, I’m illustrating children’s books and working on my YA novel, How To Be A Heartbreaker! When I’m not working, I enjoy a bit of stomp dancing and some beading on the side. Hope you enjoy looking around the ol' website! Wado/Thank you! Represented for literary work by Linda Camacho [email protected] |
